Hi! My name is Anna Teachey and I am a first-year student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am studying Media and Journalism, hoping to pursue a career in marketing (specifically fashion)!

I began dancing at a young age, and it quickly became a major part of my life. Through years of training and performing, I developed a deep appreciation for creativity, self-expression and attention to detail. Dance taught me discipline, confidence and how to communicate visually without words—skills that have naturally shaped my interests today. As I’ve grown, that same passion for movement and visual storytelling has evolved into a strong interest in fashion marketing. I am drawn to how fashion, like dance, allows individuals and brands to express identity, emotion and creativity, and I hope to build a career that combines these elements through innovative and impactful marketing.
I want to always make sure I maintain my passion…
Since I can’t pursue dance as my full time career, using the skills I have learned from it is my next best option. This is how I know I will never loose my passion.
